I believe nature heals all.

Welcome, I’m Michael Wedgley, and I find my deepest fulfillment in connecting with nature and nurturing the Earth. With nearly 6 years of experience as a certified Permaculture Designer, Water Harvesting Designer, and Soil Foodweb Technician, I’ve dedicated myself to crafting landscapes that not only flourish with life but also serve as a testament to our connection to the land.

My journey into permaculture design was born from a profound desire to reconnect with nature and to honor the responsibility we hold in caring for our planet. Every garden I design is a manifestation of this passion—a testament to the beauty and abundance that can arise when we work in harmony with the Earth.

One of the most rewarding moments in my work is witnessing the transformation of a space beyond what even I could have imagined. Seeing rainwater gently collected in basins and swales, nourishing plants as if they were my own children, fills me with an indescribable sense of purpose and joy. I’ll never forget the family whose tears of gratitude flowed as they beheld the newfound connection to nature and sustenance that their garden brought them.

What truly excites me is the opportunity to work alongside home gardeners, farmers, and families, guiding them as they reconnect with the natural world right in their own front or backyard. For me, it’s more than just designing gardens; it’s about fostering a deep and meaningful relationship between people and the land.

My guiding principles—Earth Care, People Care, Fair Share, and the belief that Nature Heals All—underscore every project I undertake. When collaborating with clients, I strive to listen deeply to their desires, honor the unique character of the land, and uncover opportunities to create spaces that not only meet their needs but also nurture their connection to nature.

While I’m humbled by the work I’ve done so far, my journey is far from over. Each new project is an opportunity to deepen my understanding, refine my craft, and continue spreading the message that by caring for the Earth, we care for ourselves and future generations.

Join me in this journey of connection, stewardship, and abundance. Together, let’s create landscapes that not only sustain life but celebrate it in all its beauty and wonder.
