HOW TO USE THIS ROADMAP
The Landscape Transition Roadmap gives HOA boards and property managers a shared process for organizing information, making connected decisions, and preparing for design and implementation. It can be used during board meetings, committee discussions, site walks, and conversations with landscape professionals.
GATHER THE STARTING INFORMATION
Collect available site maps, irrigation information, water bills, maintenance contracts, previous proposals, rebate information, and records of past landscape decisions.
WORK THROUGH BOARD DECISIONS
Identify likely nonfunctional turf, clarify community priorities, document constraints, discuss the desired landscape character, and determine which areas should be addressed first.
PREPARE FOR IMPLEMENTATION
